welcome to ROYAL ELIZABETH yard
Royal Elizabeth Yard was built in 1946 in Kirkliston, West Lothian and was a Royal Naval Victualling Depot. The last regulation issue of rum in the Royal Navy occurred on Friday 31st July 1970. Since then, Unit 6 (the former rum store for the fleet’s daily rum ration) lay empty until Holyrood Distillery took over in 2019.
